About Me
I graduated from The University of Mississippi with a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, complemented by a minor in General Business and a Specialization in Social Media. While at Ole Miss, I was selected as a Social Media Intern assigned to the School of Journalism and New Media, where I gained valuable experience.
Subsequently, I served as a Social Media Specialist and Instructor for Sundancers Baton Twirlers, significantly enhancing online visibility and managing multiple social media platforms. As an AT&T Summer Marketing Intern at The Luxe Executives, I conducted market research and developed integrated marketing strategies tailored to client needs. Further honing my skills, I served as a bartender and Social Media Marketing Manager at Round Table on the Square, focusing on content creation and customer engagement strategies.
While preparing for the International Baton Twirling Federation World Championship in England, I managed social media platforms for The Sundancers Baton Twirlers and Team USA Corps. Proudly, I captained Team USA to a silver medal and achieved silver and bronze medals in individual events. Following this success, I curated content for resort brands like Margaritaville Orlando Resort at NDM Hospitality, maintaining their unique voice and engaging with diverse communities across various channels. Recently, I authored two publications for NonaHood News.
Currently, I am a Marketing Specialist at The Diallo Group, responsible for designing all marketing materials, managing digital marketing strategies including social media, and creating project proposals to expand TDG's partner and client base.
I have developed a diverse skill set in marketing throughout my professional journey. My proficiency in content creation, community management, and digital marketing tools positions me as a versatile asset in any marketing team.

Over the past 14 years, I have been a competitive baton twirler.
At the University of Mississippi, I received a scholarship as one of three Ole Miss Feature Twirlers. I developed strong time management skills by balancing daily practices, performances, honor roll achievements, a part-time job, philanthropy, and extracurricular activities.
In August, I concluded my competitive twirling career in Liverpool, England, at the International Baton Twirling Federation World Championship and Nations Cup as the leader of my local Team USA cohort. There, I brought home two silver medals, two bronze medals, and a fourth-place finish for the United States. I dedicated myself to this pursuit every day and every summer from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in preparation.
Being in a sport my whole life has taught me tenacity; being on a team has taught me how to exhibit great sportsmanship; and captaining my team for over 10 years has taught me leadership and how to inspire others.
Why I have a passion for Digital Marketing
Digital marketing captivates me due to its dynamic and transformative impact on modern business. I am fascinated by the ability to craft compelling narratives and strategically place them across various digital platforms, reaching and engaging with a global audience. The evolving nature of digital marketing fuels my passion, as it requires staying attuned to emerging trends, technologies, and consumer behaviors.
Social media marketing, in particular, stands out as a powerful tool for building meaningful connections and fostering brand loyalty. Analyzing data, deriving actionable insights, and optimizing campaigns based on real-time metrics are crucial in achieving tangible results.
