

I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications, complemented by a minor in General Business and a Specialization in Social Media. While at Ole Miss, I was selected as a Social Media Ambassador assigned to the School of Journalism and New Media, where I created content. Subsequently, I served as a Social Media Specialist and Instructor for Sundancers Baton Twirlers, significantly enhancing online visibility and managing multiple social media platforms. I have experience conducting market research and developing integrated marketing strategies tailored to client needs. Further honing my skills, I served as a bartender and Social Media Marketing Manager at Round Table on the Square, where I focused on content creation and customer engagement strategies.
While preparing for the International Baton Twirling Federation World Championship in England, I managed social media platforms for The Sundancers Baton Twirlers and Team USA Corps. Proudly, I captained Team USA to a silver medal and achieved silver and bronze medals in individual events. Following this success, I curated content for resort brands like Margaritaville Orlando Resort at NDM Hospitality, maintaining their unique voice and engaging with diverse communities across various channels. Recently, I authored two publications for NonaHood News.
I currently serve as a Marketing Specialist at The Diallo Group, a woman-owned small business in the federal A/E/C industry. In this role, I oversee the firm’s digital marketing strategy, including LinkedIn content for TDG and Onyx of Alexandria, email campaigns and newsletters, and SEO. I design all branded materials, from capability statements and event brochures to internal presentations. I led the brand integration effort following TDG’s acquisition of Onyx by designing a cohesive, merged logo. I also manage the firm’s marketing calendar and lead outreach initiatives, including our annual scholarship program. I’ve contributed to business development by supporting proposal preparation, coordinating conference logistics, and cultivating professional connections to grow our industry presence. I’ve also played a key role in operational support, previously managing all company travel in compliance with GSA guidelines and assisting with internal meetings and hiring efforts. Beyond marketing, I have provided field support on federal facility and asset evaluation projects and currently lead layout and formatting for a 600+ page Installation Development Plan using Adobe InDesign.
I’ve been leading teams since 2015, bringing nearly a decade of hands-on experience in people management, strategy, and performance development. I hold a certification in Leadership & People Management, which has strengthened my ability to motivate, guide, and grow high-performing teams. One of my proudest achievements was captaining Team USA to a silver medal, an experience that sharpened my skills in communication, adaptability, and high-pressure decision-making. I bring a well-rounded set of managerial strengths, including conflict resolution, team-building, and goal-oriented planning, all grounded in a leadership style that values collaboration, accountability, and results.
